Real estate investors are tired of the scarcity mindset, the hoarding of information and the constant chatter over numbers.

The talk over ‘numbers of deals’ and ‘numbers of doors’ creates an environment of quantity over quality. It also leaves the newer investor feeling small.

When you start a Deal Maker, it’s all about an environment that fosters:

No matter how seasoned you are.

At a Deal Maker meetup, you leave your ego at the door.

When you’re a Deal Maker…

Real Estate Investing is a Team Sport

Is This You?

Are you sick of trying to find your way in real estate mostly on your own?

Have you struggled finding people in your area to exchange information?

Are you then left to scour the internet in search of online masterminds who have “your type of people”?

Or maybe you’ve found your people, but you’re craving human connection.

There might even be some of you out there who already have a meetup but lack support and struggle with attendance.

Now try the Deal Maker Way!

Do You Identify With This?

We find there are three types of people who start local Deal Maker meetups:

Those who have a local meetup nearby, but don’t gel with the culture usually because it doesn’t foster growth, connection and information-sharing.

Those who have no REI meetup in their area and crave that connection you can only get live and in-person.

Those who already have a meetup but struggle with attendance and lack support in trying to grow their membership.

No matter which type you are, you now have an option to… Get the right people in the room sharing information.

You can be the one to affect change,

…the one to help make real estate investors in your local community shine!

Starting a Deal Maker meetup is not something we expect you to just sign up for and have to figure out on your own.

With Deal Maker, you get the following built-in infrastructure:

Membership Growth Tools

We’ll give you the frameworks other leaders have used. This way you can grow your membership to a few hundred people in just a few months just like they did.

You’ll also get help drawing in more members with discounts to places like Lowes along with pre-packaged branding and logos.

Support

You will received our comprehensive Deal Maker Launch Playbook to help you with venues, speakers, sponsors and all the details you need to launch!

You’ll have monthly Zoom meetings with our founder, Jim Ingersoll and the leaders of other cities. On these calls, you’ll get marketing ideas and learn how to remove bottlenecks you are facing while growing your meetup.

Multiple Revenue Streams

We believe your Deal Maker meetup should be a profitable venture. In order to assist with this, we provide you with a few different opportunities for income including Deal Maker affiliate commissions, sponsors, membership fees and merchandise sales.

Typical Deal Makers charge $20 – $30/month to attend and sponsors will typically pay $200 – $300/month to sponsor a Deal Maker.

Case studies

Jovana Vargas and Joe Castaneda.
Founders, “Nostros” in Atlanta, GA

As an early adopter, Nosotros came on board as our first meetup focused on nurturing and empowering their local Latino community in Atlanta. They also converted their existing meetup to Deal Maker because they weren’t getting the support they needed. Jovana and Joe have taken the “meetup by meetup” approach for now. They charge each attendee a $35 fee and each sponsor $300 a month. They have about 40 people (and counting) and 5 sponsors for each meeting. They are ignited by the mutual support between them and their sponsors. They are even more lit up by inspiring their community to build their wealth with real estate.

What Makes a Great Deal Maker Local Leader?

After reading all of that, you must be feeling the itch to start your own Deal Maker.

Come on! We know you want to!

Many people ask: “how do I know if this is right for me?”

Let me ask you this:

If you found yourself saying yes to a lot of these questions, then we’d like to hear from you!

I know what you’re thinking…

Starting a meetup is expensive.

It’s not. We kept the entry costs low, so you can be profitable right out of the gate. It costs an initial $1,295 and $119/month for the first year.

I love organizing people, but I struggle with marketing.

If you’re not great at marketing, that’s ok. We have a few leaders who are in the same boat. They have had their fellow leaders give them simple ideas that they can easily implement to grow their meetup or market their events & used our Launch playbook for templates to fill their rooms.

I already have a meetup.

Moving your meetup over to the Deal Maker brand is easy. As of right now, we have 30+ city leaders (and counting) ready to greet you with open arms.

Why Deal Maker is different? JIM'S STORY

Ten years ago in Richmond, Virginia there was this man, right here, who was obsessed with people and their success. He knew the quickest way to usher them in the right direction was to get them in the same room and start pouring into them.

He told them everything he knew and when he didn’t know something, he found the people who did to share what they knew.

His name is Jim Ingersoll and he’s still doing all of these things today. The only difference is that his mission has grown.

Jim wants to impact how real estate is being done on a national scale. He has always wanted to create something bigger than himself.

The many lives he’s changed and the testimonials he’s received prove that he has accomplished this.

So now it’s time to take it all and go beyond the city walls of Richmond, Virginia.

Jim knows he needs the right leaders with the right mindset to grow his vision.

He wants to take you with him.

Deal Maker stands out because of the depth of connection and purpose. Unlike some other meetups where networking feels surface-level, Deal Maker is about building long-term relationships. It’s not just about exchanging contacts; it’s about truly understanding each other’s journeys and goals, providing real help, and celebrating wins together.

Also, working with Jim and the other Deal Maker feels like a real family where we learn from each other, share resources, and are there to lift each other up when needed.

I decided to start my Deal Maker meetup in Gary Indiana because I think there is a huge opportunity to get in on this before it blows up. Other real estate investor meetups (even at a national level) are broken. There is definitely no foundation of morals or mindset. We also have some price breaks coming from national chains to help support our members even further. I value that Jim has created a culture of benevolence and giving back and I really just want to be part of anything he is doing. So I had to jump in. If you’re thinking about starting a Deal Maker, my vote is to do it!

As a meetup “convert” I can easily say that Deal Maker is in a league of its own. There is a night and day difference between the other national organization I was working with and Deal Maker. I am no longer doing this alone. Jim Ingersoll sets the tone with a “win-win” mindset and making sure we have everything we need to be successful. I love all the different revenue opportunities that allow us to be profitable and bring more value to our members.

I’ve been to Jim’s Deal Maker conference a few times now it continues to get better each time. The people that Jim has surrounded himself with are not only kind and integral but they are giving and very experienced. The people that are attracted to Jim’s events are great too. I’ve loved being able to develop these relationships that have even turned into friendships.

DealMaker 2024 renewed my faith in people! After being burned in the past, I was skeptical about attending and risking getting taken advantage of again by so-called ‘gurus’ and ‘mentors’ pushing their products or programs. However, I immediately felt like I was in the right room with the right people. It was a life-changing experience for both me and my business. The culture truly inspired me.

Deal Maker truly took my investing to the next level. I’ve never met someone like Jim who has a genuine spirit, truly believes in people, and gives back in so many ways. He has helped me to grow my network as well as my business and has encouraged me to “tell my story”. I’m grateful for the path I’m on and owe a lot of it to Jim and Deal Maker.
